For those of you who know me – you know how much I’ve changed over the past 6 years! You’ve seen how much more fulfillment, love and joy I have in my life. For those of you who don’t know me quite so well, I wanted to take a moment to share with you what has helped me and so many others change our lives for the better.
What I’ve found has been more than a breath of fresh air, it’s like returning home to my true self and that “aha” moment of “this is it! This is what I’ve been looking for!”
What I’m talking about is the Modern Mystery School which has ancient teachings, healings, and initiations that support people’s empowerment.
Before I found the mystery school I had very little self-esteem. I was always looking outside of myself for direction on what to do. I was easily influenced by others. I was craving acceptance and I thought If I did what others wanted, I’d get that but instead what I got was giving up my control to others and living a life that wasn’t mine. I ended up in a couple of abusive relationships. I was raped too many times to count. I was depressed, anxious, had an eating disorder, had PTSD, and was borderline suicidal.
Words cannot describe the darkness, pain, loneliness, emptiness, and despair I felt and lived with every day.
And then things changed.
I started wanting to be different, I started wanting to heal. I found the modern mystery school and my world changed forever. Through the initiations, teachings and healings handed down in the Modern Mystery School, I was finally able to THINK FOR MYSELF! No longer was I looking outside of myself for direction. No longer would I tolerate others violating my boundaries. I had discernment. I learned the questions to ask to know who I am and what I want. I started living my life in integrity with who I really am.
Joy, Fulfillment, Love, Light, Goodness, Healing, and Healthy
I started having JOY. I started having FULFILLMENT. I started experiencing real LOVE. There became LIGHT and GOODNESS in my life. I looked WITHIN for direction. I HEALED from the trauma. And have HEALTHY relationships.
Every session, every class, every initiation I chose to do along the way has helped me become a better person and be more the person I want to be – someone who lives with purpose, who follows my passions and works to make the world a better place.
This is not an easy road and it has its challenges. Change is not always easy! Even if it’s change for the better! But I’ve found it to be so worth it!!
Along my journey of being a part of the Modern Mystery School, I have been supported and encouraged by various teachers. They have shared their wisdom and perspective to assist me in seeing new points of view. This has been instrumental in my changing and healing. How can you change for the better if you can’t see another option to choose from? Though, not once have they told me what to do or how to live my life. Otherwise – how would I actually change? Instead, this journey has been about my empowerment. Expanding my ability to consider options and then potentially make new choices.
My teachers
My teachers have included the Third Order – Founder Gudni Gudnason, Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon, Ipsissimus Hideto Nakagome, the council of 12 – composed of incredible women who are leaders in the Modern Mystery School of international locations, and the international teaching team at large, are all people who I consider role models and are all people I look up to. Time and time again they have shown themselves to be wise, compassionate, and authentic.
I’ve seen these leaders time and time again give help and support to people in the school. I myself am extremely grateful for the support I’ve gotten along the way!
Now, recently there’s been an article published by a tabloid that slanders this school and the good people in it. This saddens my heart, but unfortunately today people can and will publish stories for their own agendas – whatever it may be. I’m not here to tell you what to believe for yourself. Use your own discernment and judgment. But I will say what I’ve experienced – what I’ve seen so many others experience and that is a school with teachings and tools that helps us improve our lives in a way nothing else has.
Everything I’ve seen has been above board. I’ve seen hundreds of people show up at international programs, year after year, excited to be taking classes and excited by the growth and change they’ve experienced.
“By their fruits, you shall know them.”
I’ve seen people’s careers take off, I’ve seen people’s depression end, I’ve seen people’s strained relationships make a 180, and so much more, from receiving sessions, initiations, or taking classes from the Modern Mystery School.
I am extremely grateful for all the sacrifices people have made in order to make these teachings available to me and so many others. It has changed my life for the better.
